When they subscribe to your opt-in box on your squeeze page, you should redirect them to another page where they can download the freebie that you are offering, and also email them (via your autoresponder) with the link to the freebie also. In that very same email, you will want to tell them about your product, and include a link in your email to the sales letter page for it.
Now once you get your subscriber, you don't want to email them everyday. This is the fastest way to get someone to unsubscribe to you. Instead, stick with emailing your leads every 3 to 4 days. This is a good time interval to get them excited about receiving your next email, along with still being in the zone where they don't forget about who you are.
And this is basically the easiest way to earn money with your website. Make sure you're in a good niche that is reachable and very responsive. You can usually tell how hot a market is by the number leads you get in relation to the number of website hits you get on a daily basis. If you ever get a 40% to 50% conversion rate for your opt-in email newsletter, then you're definitely in a good niche.
Don't give up if you don't see alot of sales coming in with just a little bit of leads. If you have a lead base of around 200 subscribers, this really isn't enough leads to make a decision about whether or not you should continue the campaign. Now if you have 1,000 leads and they aren't very responsive, then maybe you should consider another niche to operate in.
